Brooklyn's Birthday
On Thursday Jeff and I went to my doctors appointment only to find out that I was dilated to three centimeters, however Brooklyn was breach (feet down). So they took me up to the hospital and admitted me and turned Brooklyn around so that she was head down. Then the doctor told me to come in on Friday and get rechecked. So Friday morning Jeff and I went back to the doctor and found out that I was now at a four, we were told to go walk the mall and come back later. After alot of walking we went back to the hospital that night and was told that I am now and a five and we could go have this baby. Since I was tired and knowing that that the doctor was not going to use pitocin, we decided to go home and attended Rick and Olivia's birthday party, and the game with the Patty's. Saturday morning we went back to the hospital and was rechecked. The nurse thought that Brooklyn was breach again, so they decided to admit me and have the baby. Brooklyn was not breach she was just high so they broke my water and labor began. When it came time to push her heart rate dropped so they used forceps, and in three contractions with no time to catch a breath in between pushes she was born at 4:59 on February 9th. She was born weighing 7 lbs 10 oz and 22" long.
